Is there nickel in the sterling silver?

I seek out the highest quality of 925 Sterling Silver, which is known for its purity and minimal alloying with other metals. However, Sterling silver is the standard of quality for articles containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper (and/or other alloys). My Sterling Silver may contain other metals such as nickel.

How should I clean my copper jewelry?

Cleaning copper jewelry is easy.  You can use ketchup and gently scrub with a toothbrush and immediately rinse with lukewarm water gently scrubbing ketchup away.  Alternatively, you can use specialized copper cleaning solutions such as Brasso available in the market and a soft cleaning cloth.  Avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the metal.

Where do you source your stones, and where are they from?

We take pride in sourcing our gemstones responsibly and ethically from various reputable suppliers.  The origin of our stones may vary depending on the specific piece, but we prioritize selecting stones from environmentally conscious and socially responsible sources to ensure the highest quality and ethical standards in our jewelry.

Do you make the jewelry yourself?

The collections combine my handcrafted pieces and curated collections.  For more than a decade I’ve collaborated with indigenous artists, artist representatives and socially empowered artisans to bring you distinctive, exquisite, one-of-a-kind, and limited-edition wearable art jewelry creations.

Will wearing copper jewelry turn my skin green?

Yes, copper jewelry can turn your skin green, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing. This color change depends on the acidity levels in your body.  In fact, copper can serve as a unique indicator of your body’s pH balance.  When your body’s acidity is high, you may see a greenish hue, but when your alkalinity is in balance, your copper jewelry will shine.  So, the dull patina of copper is a gentle reminder to maintain a healthy diet with more raw greens, green juices, vegetables, and water.  Copper is a magical metal with multiple benefits.  Give it a try; it really works!
